Shane came up to me while I was fixated on the computer. He have me a neck hug and said, “What’s up, Hole Punch?”
“Hole Punch???”
“What? “
“Did you just call me hole punch?” , I asked quizzically
*Shane laughing*… “I said, H-O-N-E-Y B-U-N-C-H”
“Oh.”… *me laughing hysterically*…. “My first senior moment, how exciting!”

Oh man! That’s too funny. : ) I have too many of those little stories to mention! Good luck with that, though. Maybe you were just concentrating on written words and the verbal words just didn’t process fast enough! lol yeah, yeah…that’s it : )

Hole Punch. Hmmm. We’re strange enough here I would have just assumed that’s exactly what he said, and likely replied in kind.
I think that’s a direct result from having kids at such a young age; you lose all sense of cool, and start taking up any lame comment as “the new hip”, thus sounding like a horribly misinformed granny.
That’s just how we roll .. yo.
