Well, everyone in our house is now a licensed driver… despite the fact that we were a little off on setting up the maneuverability course in our driveway with the distance from the front two cones to the top cone. But.. it all worked out, even though our course was a bit odd to say the least! Our poles consisted of a candy cane, broken broom handles, and a Swiffer handle, lol.
I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so hard when practicing this! “Watch out! Ooooo, you just hit the candy cane!”
I'm Sheila. In addition to raising 1 husband and 3 teens, I've founded 
I am so glad that we are all done with that also. It was my least favorite part of being a parent. I think I would rather give birth again than teach another teenager to drive!

That is too funny. I am definitely not looking forward to teaching my kids to drive. Thankfully I don’t have to do so yet, but I’m sure it will be quite nerve-wracking.

I’ve got quite a while before my driver ed days. Hopefully, I’ll be able to keep a straight face. I remember when my baby sister was learning to drive. I was laughing so hard and just couldn’t stop. I think that may have been a little disconcerting for her. I have no idea why I was laughing either. Just one of those moments.

But at least a Major, major major chunk of driving will vanish from my life when the 2011-2012 school season starts. School bus for my little gal at last. her first 4 years, preschool and K were just 3 miles up the road, but her second 4 year stint, ending in a week — saw her at a school 30 minutes from home. (
