While using the rototiller gifted to us by our former neighbor…. (They watched us trying to break up our soil for a garden last year with a shovel and pitchfork…..and took pity on us)….I couldn’t figure out WHY ON EARTH it worked just fine one minute and then wouldn’t start the next. Weird I tell you! *scratches head*
I turned it over, cleaned out all the debris woven around the blade….pulled the chord….and nothing. *scratches head again* Hmmmm. Six times I inspected it. I told Shane, “This is so weird…. why would it just stop working? I just don’t get it”
Oh wait! Wait JUST A SECOND! Could it be that ROCK stuck up in there? DOH!

(Setting the scene: Winter time. Kids about to go out and play in the snow)
“Uhhhh mom! How come none of our gloves have matches to them?”
(Scene two: Springtime. Back yard water spiket)
Note to Shane: Next winter, when covering the spiket, please use a glove that doesn’t have a match.

LOL one glove doesn’t ever help anyone, except if your missing a hand or your Michael Jackson.

The glove is a kick-butt idea. I bet Michael Jackson was perfectly set up for that, as Sean mentioned
No ice now tho, eh, Baby! Must be gorgeous up there now!

Why didn’t I think of that glove idea? You are a smart cookie! Actually, your post was kinda proving that you’re not. LOL

Ah, yes…the glorious surprises of Springtime. But I’ll have to say tha I’d rather face a challenge in the Spring than in the Winter…

I was just sure you were going to say the tiller was out of gas or not plugged in. I would totally have missed that rock too! I didn’t see it until you said it.

Wow, never thought of putting a glove on a spiket. Does that work? I love that you said spiket…haven’t heard that word in a long time.
