My 3 Word Thursday
Yes, this is 5 measly degrees, lol. Tomorrow it’ll be colder. I got up early to see if schools are closed since by last night they hadn’t closed them. Of course, they are…now that I’m up and out of bed early. Urghhhh. Tonight? -12 below. ((gasp))
Although our city schools are closed, the kids in the Cleveland School District have TO go in today….apparently the higher ups that decide these things don’t have to stand out in the cold waiting for public transportation, or have to walk over 2 miles in the -10 degree windchills to get to where they need to go. It’s sad that these morons have not closed schools in that district yet. Shame on them. UPDATE: 8am it’s minus 2 degrees Brrrrrr.

Oh man that is freaking COLD!!! I agree that it is WAY too cold for those kids to be walking to school or waiting for the bus!! Thank goodness yours got to stay home today!

Sorry I wasn’t able to join this week. My son wasn’t feeling well yesterday and I didn’t have time to post my entry. You know I also wanted to post something about the temperature. It’s 17 deg C here. It’s pretty cold than what we are used to here. Sadly many kids are getting sick including my son. He has cough and it seems I’m having the same symptoms.

Hey – we’re (sort of) in your neck of the woods. We’re in Columbus and let me tell you – you’re right – it IS bone chilling cold up here. And I LIKE the cold weather!!! Where exactly are you guys in Ohio?
