Okay, I know I’m gonna ‘hear it’ on this one……
From a church in Blacklick, OH.  Apparently their belief is not to open your arms and welcome ‘all of God’s children’.  Although I hear if ‘they change their ways’ they’ll be accepted. 

I wonder if they encourage beating your children there…or that parents should just go ahead and kill their kids if they swear at them.
Or if they believe in war that we should specifically kill women and babies.  The Bible specifically says to do these things. 

Now before you get upset, I am a Christian.  And my point is that the Bible (which I DO have and have read by the way) was written like 1700 years ago.  Why do we take one thing LITERALLY  and not the rest?  The people in the Biblical days also practiced a lot of incest.  A LOT.  But we don’t go around sleeping with our family members now , do we?   We also don’t marry off our daughters to start their own family at age 12.  And we certainly don’t practice slavery any more.

Religion gives you your foundation.  Your common sense helps you to build on that foundation and makes you the person you are.
