Should have named her Cindy. Cindy Brady.

Remember that episode of the Brady Bunch where Cindy twists her ankle and even when it felt better, she still limped because of all the sympathy everyone showed her?

Uh….I’m pretty certain that our dog Brooklyn IS Cindy Brady. In my last post I briefly said she hurt her paw while running. That whole day….that whole evening….Shane just babied and babied her. Made her lay down while he brought her food bowl to her. Then…then…brings her water bowl in so she didn’t have to get up! On my LIVING ROOM carpet!

She actually looked over at me a couple times as if to say….”Na-na-na-na-na.” This morning she came a runnin upstairs like nothing was wrong. No limp! But as soon as Shane got up, she actually looked like she had a slight limp again! OMG.

24 days to early!

So we’re sitting in the living room chillin out watchin some tv and the dog sits in front of the tv and starts barking and whining. Hmmmm, what is the problem? None of us could figure it out. So we watched her and listened. Apparently she noticed her stocking hanging there and wanted to check it out! lol So I grabbed the camera (but of course, I couldn’t miss a good blogging moment!)

So we’re thinking that maybe she smelled the sweet smell of an old rawhide scent still lingering on the stocking from last Christmas? If not, she’s way smarter than we thought. And by the way, this last pic is how she sat for a full 15 minutes after the first three pics. I hope it’s not like this daily until Christmas!
