Scene of the crime:

Okay, so I’m shopping for chicken.
I hear an incredibly loud CRASH, SMASH, Glass breaking!

I turn around and some lady driving one of those motorized shopping carts smashed right smack into the display of extremely red — wine bottles! OMG! (The lady was not hurt) Thank God this wasn’t near the gun and ammo aisle!

p.s. we don’t actually have a “gun and ammo aisle”

Gnome Sweet Gnome

So earlier this summer…. someone stole m’ gnome. Right out of my zen garden for God’s sake. Who does this?
Well we finally figured it out! I was cleaning ~~the hoarders~~ my sons room today (3 loads of laundry laying about) and came across a stack of pictures. … starring none other than MY FRICKIN GNOME!

I didn’t recognize anyone in the pics but my suspicions were correct, it was his girlfriend that stole my gnome! She snuck over ~~in the dead of night~~ at about 10 pm one night and snatched him. Then he went to the beach, on bike rides, and other things…

So the girl has finally earned herself a nickname: Gnomewrecker.

Explosive situation

Shane likes to put his Pepsi’s in the freezer to get them nice and cold for a hard day (outside) at work. Time (and time again) I have to remind him to “take them out or it will explode”
