Isn’t it ironic (don’tcha think?) That just when you are thinking…”hmmm, what am I gonna blog about tomorrow?“….Something just happens…that is just perfect for posting? Life is great isn’t it?
A friend of ours, with worse luck than ours was over yesterday. Upon leaving, he backed out of our driveway (without using his side mirror) *a hem*….this is what happened……
Yup. Our car. The one my daughter drives. The very same car…that SHE…in OUR driveway…backed into her friends car….ON THE OTHER SIDE! lol….and a DUH. Now the sides of the car ‘almost’ match….except for this time, it’s the WHOLE length of the car. Crinkled like a pop can. Door doesn’t open. Wheel rim all scuffed up.
Thank God for insurance. And thank God is isn’t mine. But guess what his insurance company asked me…lol…”Where was your car in the drive? Was your car parked so that he had proper clearance to back out?”. SAY WHAT? Uh, yeah, dumb broad …I have a two car drive. My car was on one side. His on the other.”
**no one was hurt in the making of this post. with the exception of someone’s pride.

I’m so glad no one was hurt. Oy!
The insurance is playing hide n’ seek with us for the lady that totaled our vehicle.
So strange that they’d ask you that!

Those insurance companies are getting pretty shrewd with their questioning, we have certainly noticed here. And I think they only hire retired I.R.S. employees!

Oh no! My sister accidentally scraped up against her mail box last year, with similar results. I can’t believe the insurance people even insinuated you could be at fault for not leaving him enough “clearance”. I guess that’s their job, weasel out of a claim any way you can.

I’d be SO mad… but I can’t help but to wonder like the others… how do you hit a car and NOT STOP??! I mean I can see scraping the side, maybe a 5 inch scratch, but the ENTIRE LENGTH OF THE CAR?!
