Destined to Run Into an Old Friend

I am certain that today, I will run into an old friend. Perhaps from high school that I haven’t seen in 25 years. Perhaps one of the girls I hung out with many many years ago…one of the ones where we used to spend hours getting ready…primping and getting made up to go out. Yes, destiny will lead me right into the path of one of these people today…I am certain.
Why you ask? Are you having a psycho psychic moment?
Noooo silly. I’m about to leave the house with minimal makeup, unwashed hair and dressed in my sweat pants.

now what was this post about? oh yes.
Oh but soomething soooooo great happened about a month ago. I, for some strange reason, actually looked kind of good one day in the supremarket. Actually I looked HOT! Hair was great. had on something reasogably chic. And I ran into one of the mom’s from Kelly’s pre-school who is about 10 years younger than me. And she did not look as stunning as she always used to.

That’s always how it goes. If I ever run into an ex or an old friend, I always manage to look like I’ve just been hit by a mac truck. What can you do though?

lol. Ah yes, isn’t that always the way it works. Every time I run in to someone from my past, I’m always in sweats, with all four kids, and looking haggard. Ah well. Not so far from the truth I suppose.
