Simple question – Aloha Friday
filed in Politics on Oct.16, 2008
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is a day to take it easy and look forward to the weekend. The whole premis is to ask a simple question on Aloha Friday. Check out Islandlife808 for more.
So, here goes:
Senerio: You are absolutely SURE, without a doubt in your mind and heart, WHO you are voting for in the election. Your candidate stands for everything you believe in. But right before the election, you learn YOUR candidate is going to re-enact the draft. (Remember – they take girls AND boys now)
My question for today: “Does this change your vote?”

No, it doesn’t change my vote.
Happy Aloha friday!

No, but it makes me into a binge drinker…

No, it really would not change my mind. Sadly I have a feeling we may be heading in that direction no matter which candidate becomes the next president.

It could sway me…I’ll have to admit.

No, it doesn’t change my vote, but it will make me run and hide in a closet with a bottle of booze!

Noooo does it change yours?

That is a tough question. If they stand for everything else I believe in then no I don’t think it would change. I have two boys and often wonder if they will grow up and join the military someday. I am a firm believer that god has plan’s for our lives and if that is our path it will be our path.

Nope, but we’re a military family so I’m biased.

I would still vote the same person. There are more issues that I feel would need attention.

That is a very good question. As “sad” as that would be,that would not change my vote at all! I am certain and I will not change my mind. This election is way too important for me to flip flop.

Sorry I couldn’t answer this because I’m not familiar with that draft you’re referring to. I just hope that you’ll have a safe and honest election.
