I can’t believe fall is here!  What do we look forward to in the fall?  Not cutting the grass!  Yea!  The leaves changing colors ~ that’s always spectacular.  Making s’mores out by the fire pit.  Cool breezes.  Tea.  Hot chocolate.  Browns Games.

Then there’s the flip side:  Heating bills start up.  We have to wear socks.  Cleaning up leaves.  Less sunshine.  Closing up the pool.  Browns Games.

I am glad we live in a part of the world where the leaves change colors.  What else could be a more fitting end to the hot summer?  Too bad that not everyone in the world can see this in full swing! 

Did you know the Native Americans used to say that spirit hunters in the sky slew the Great Bear (a constellation) in Autumn.  The  bear’s blood, dripping over the forests, changed the leaves to red.  Interesting.
