Lasagna Recipe: Makes One 13×9 pan and a small casserole pan.
In a large pot, boil water. Add 1 box (approx. 16 noodles) lasagna noodles and cook about 15 minutes (til ‘not quite done’)
Brown and drain 3/4 lb. ground beef. Put in a bowl.
Add your favorite spaghetti sauce to beef. (not quite a 1 lb. jar)
mozzarella cheese (2 cup package/shredded)
In your pan(s) start by spreading a thin layer of leftover sauce from the jar into the bottom of the pan so the noodles don’t stick. Then layer: Noodles, meaty sauce, (sprinkle on) shredded mozzarella cheese (and repeat layers til you have 3-4)
Cover pans with foil and put in the oven on 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes….then, remove foil and continue to cook an additional 10 minutes. Serve. (IF you have meat sauce left, freeze it for adding to spaghetti sauce! And you can use ground turkey instead of
beef.)
