Exploring the Metroparks

So me and the boy spent some quality time at the Metroparks exploring. Here’s a brief re-cap:

- If a tree falls when no one’s around, does it make a sound? Uh, I’m pretty sure this bad boy made a sound.

- One of the old locks on the Ohio Canal.
-
- A flock of turtles. Or is that a herd? A gaggle? Whatever
-
- One of two beavers we spotted.
-
- And looky what was at the end of our trail!
-
- Yup! A Carvel Ice Cream Shop! What better way to end a healthy walk?
*note: my dad says these aren’t beavers, but ‘muskrats’.

Wow, a beaver! I’ve never seen one in real life. Not even at the zoo. What a neat walk. I could totally go for some ice cream right about now, too.
