Huh….LIGHT BULB….

You know (and moms do know…) when the bathroom trash overflows and there are used tissues and Q-Tips that land on the floor….you know…and you have to get down there and pick them up. You know how gross that is.

Well….I just realized that it is impossible to understand how gross that feeling of a used wet tissue is….until you have children of your own or are living on your own with someone else.

I cannot WAIT til my kids have their own place and that light bulb goes off! And…I can’t wait to visit when I have a cold.

Personal Bests!

The last cross-country meet of the season. A co-ed 5K.
The boy got his personal best of 25:01 (Yay!)

A beautifully gorgeous day filled with stunning color, cozy sweaters and a lot of laughter.
Nature was also having a ‘personal best’ day as well!

These photos were taken at a beautiful place called Squires Valleevue Farm in Hunting Valley, Ohio. It’s part of Case Western University. On Sunday, President Obama will be in Hunting Valley for a fundraiser or something. I’m thankful that this meet was not on the same day. The town isn’t all that big…I’m sure it would have been a traffic nightmare.
