Grinchy Feet

If these feet were green they could totally pass for the Grinch, couldn’t they?

These belong to our Saint Bernard.

And, if you flip the paw over, you find more toe hair.  Yes, I’ve been slacking in puppy pedicure department!   But picking iceballs out of foot fur is a sure-fire way to get out the shaver and spruce up those Grinch toes!.   And, as she usually does, she slept through the whole thing.  Snoring and all.

Chilly Photo Shoot

So like a huge portion of the country, Northeast Ohio was pretty much shut down Monday.  All the schools were closed and businesses were letting out early as blizzard like conditions pounded the State.  We ended up with around a foot of snow which isn’t bad but the 40 mph winds were blowing it all over.  News coverage was extended, til of all things, NOON… as if we’d never seen this kind of snow before.  Ridiculous!

Reports were that “if you don’t have to go out then stay inside.”  So I had the brilliant idea of making everyone go OUTSIDE to take the annual Christmas card photo.  I mean, why not?  We were all home anyhow!  So we bundled up and made our way into the 15 degree temps and had a photo shoot.   Here are some out takes:

Under Pressure.

For the last couple weeks we’ve had one storm front after another here.  Lots of high pressure and low pressure… which for me… represents sinus pain or pressure (which in turn bothers my teeth as well).   In fact, I can feel a front coming days away.   For two days I could feel the pressure on my teeth I knew something big was on it’s way…… This morning, finally, the front has made it here.

I you suffer from pains related to barometric pressure, you might want to read a post I published a while back, HERE.
