Okay. So it’s really really wintery here, so I decided to go through my summer photos and see pics of “blooming things”. I came across a series of shots from last June, where I was trying to catch a shot of some woodpeckers and ended up catching a deer in the photo instead.

Upon further enlarging, it appears I have, in fact, actually snapped a shot of a peeing deer! Now seriously, have you ever seen a deer peeing? Well… you have now.

Baby It’s Cold Outside

This weather gage sits in our house. It let’s us know the temps outside, inside and even gives a picture of how we should dress – just in case we’re too stupid to figure it out ourselves.

The first number shows the OUTSIDE temperature. It’s Eight. Yes, Eight degrees. Not Eighty… but 8 point 0.

It’s very cold, but I suppose I’m lucky not to be living in Minnesota where their temps were -46 yesterday! Maybe today I’ll dream of being in Anchorage, Alaska… where it’s a balmy 24 degrees.

Did you ever get one of those grocery store cakes where they have a band of plastic around it, holding in all the goodness? You know how when you take the band off, it’s covered in rich, sugary frosting?
