I’m seeing a lot of yellow in the garden this week…

.

.

Yellow blooms on the cucumbers with greenish-yellow climby-things grabbing onto the fence so they can grow out of the way of the squashes…

A little yellow pepper just starting out…

A musical yellow finch…

Out cold.

I find dogs so funny… here’s Dublin with his “baby”… a stuffed animal dog that he stole from my daughter.
Once he took it… no one was getting it back. Here he is, out cold. Dead to the world. With his baby.

Garden Monday: The week everything usually dies.

It’s Garden Monday over at Feet Off The Table.

Yep, it’s week two and everything is still living in the garden.  Nothing has drowned like it did last year… nothing has frost burn like it did the year before… nothing has been plucked clean by a multitude of hungry birds.  Huh!  (knock on wood!)

Nothing is really all that new either.  I have some cucumber blooms and they are letting out those shooty things so they’ll be  able to climb the fence soon.  I also have blooms on the squashes.

Okay, so enough with the frickin snooooooze-fest !  Here’s some other stuff that bloomed this week in our yard!

Pretty Yucca

Lavender starting

Clematis

Pink things

Little roses
