Money Laundering

So I was doing laundry the other day and I needed more to make a full load.  So I started grabbing clothes from my oldest’s laundry basket.

I found this in her wash.

After washing the load… I also found a fork!

Miscellaneous Musings… One turns 18.

Shane and I were laughing the other day thinking of some of the things the kids said or did when they were kids….

I picked Middle Child up from preschool one day and was instructed to go to the office.

Teacher:  “MC” was very upset today.

Me:            “Really?  Why?”

Teacher:  “She said her daddy left home and she didn’t think he was coming back”

Me: *laughter* “Oh… we explained to the kids that he was going GOLFING in North Carolina and would be home in a week!”
******************************************

(I was always the one to pick MC up from Preschool but one day Shane did.   Drivers licenses were required to take a child.)

Shane showed his license at the classroom door.
Teacher:  “MC, it’s time to go home, do you know who this is?”
MC:            “Um… no.  I don’t know him”
Teacher:  (looks at the license) “Mc, is this your daddy?”
MC:            “noooooo.”

Shane is escorted to the administrators office where I am called.  Long story short, MC didn’t feel like going home at that time.  So she said she didn’t know who Shane was.  So many funny memories (um, when looking back)… from the time she put boogers on the wall behind the Christmas tree “for Santa” to the hide and seek game that lasted over an hour (and we thought she was missing or taken or…in someone’s pool.  We went door to door and searched neighbors pools.  She was in a cabinet in the basement.  “Didn’t you hear everyone calling you?”  “Yes… but I didn’t want to come out yet!”)

Equestrian – A Review

Wow, I just visited a site that is just beautifully done and is a treasure trove for the horse enthusiast!  They sell all kinds of stuff here for the equestrian!  I think that (being a girl), all girls love horses when they are little.  Some sort of fantasy maybe, maybe it’s the stories and books we read as children, but horses spell romance.

I know a few people with actual horses and I wiiiiiish I had one myself.  But even if you can’t or don’t have one?  You can still buy the things you love about them and surround yourself with them.  And, if you are lucky enough TO ACTUALLY have one?  What a beautiful place to browse!
