Travel Adventure’s – Whipp’s Ledges
We like to explore a bit, hike a little and soak in the beauty of nature. This week we explored Whipp’s Ledges in Hinckley, Ohio. It was only a short hike to get to the ledges which were formed some 250 million years ago. I think by glaciers. Without the trails, it would be a little steep for the average person to climb up, so luckily there are a lot of trails! You can even hike with your dog!
I’ve been here a number of times when I was a teenager, but not until I was an adult did I appreciate the beauty of this park. Here’s what we saw:

- Of course, MC “didn’t realize” we’d be hiking (when I said, we’re going hiking) so she wore flip flops. Yes, I’m that mom who let their kid climb mossy rocks with flip flops.
