I have done this too - and what's more, actually solved the problem, lucky awesome me! But another time when I poked something doubtfully - it turned out to be a snake. Yikes. I was ten years old, so I guess I could be forgiven :D Imagine my surprised shock when I saw it rapidly moving. Away, thank God. Coincidentally, there was a snake charmer in the area who came into our compound and lured it into his basket. I'd say that was one scary moment! I swear we’re sisters!
