How come when we put laundry outside it smells fresh and wonderful.
But when we put dogs outside they smell like stinky sweaty dog?

Finally picking stuff from the garden. Mostly I’m blanching and freezing stuff.
Day 1: Cauliflower….
“God, what is that smell? Does someone have gas?”
“I’m blanching cauliflower”
“Well, it stinks.”
“I know.”
Day 2: Cabbage / Stuffed Cabbage….
“Jesus! What is that smell?”
“I’m making stuffed cabbage. The cabbage is from the garden!”
“It stinks….OMG…. The whole house reeks!”
“I know.
Day 3: Broccoli……
“Oh my God, did the dog fart? Damn! What did you feed the dog?”
“I’m blanching broccoli”
“Oh my God it stinks”
“I know”.
((They’ll thank me in the winter.))

I got the same reaction the other day when I was soaking/sprouting beans. The beans are now cooked and in jars in the freezer. Yum!

Hahahah…when that happens we just blame the Hubs..its usually him anyway…although our Boston Terrier also has a problem with gassy smells…Haaa what the heck its more fun to blame the hubs…I love the smell of clothes outdoors…especially with the fabric softener on them…
