It’s Garden Monday at Feet Off The Table!
I have cucumbers growing all over the place! Boy, all of you that suggested planting them along the fence so they climb….let me just say…FANTASTIC idea! Really opens up space in the garden! And makes picking easy! One is growing almost around the chain link of the fence, another climbed about 4 feet over and is growing in my pea plant.

And look at the beautiful end of summer color in my yard! Does anyone know what these tall red plants are? They attact hummingbirds by the swarm and right now are about 7 foot tall.

Love the butterfly picture. So pretty.
Cukes are one of my favorite veggies when they fresh from the garden. There is nothing better then cool cuke in the morning.

Your garden is beautiful! Those flowers look like Delphiniums to me.

I planted a bunch of purple ones over at my parents’ house a number of years ago. They attract butterflies and humming birds and are so beautiful.

My guess on those flowers may be off a bit. I would have to see them up close and see what the leaves look like.

we have a lot of tomatoes and have been eating them like crazy
I thought Delphinium at first, but they are usually fuller more populated flower, but they could be a form of delphinium.
I take that back – Delphinium or larkspur, is correct.
Yay for lots of cukes! My grandma planted lemon cukes in pots on her patio and they are growing all over the place. I’ll mention the fence idea for her next year.

I missed reading this one too… I was gone way too long and not catching up very well!
Your cukes look great! Mine did well this year too but since the weather turned HOT they have started to turn yellow, some even orange. They’re done!
Last year I used a fence and this year I didn’t. I will again next year.
