Lazy day.
A moment to just be.

Songbirds making melodies.
Fluttering hummingbird seeking a cool sugary sip.
Stifling  summer heat.

Not a breeze to whisper in my ear,
nor dry the beads of sweat.

Sun so bright I cannot gaze.
The camera takes the brunt to capture the glorious rays.

    that is a cool picture of the clouds and sun rays. I don’t know why, but I can never get my clouds pics to turn out that brilliant.

    Oooo, I wasn’t expecting that twist at the end that brought the sky photo full circle. Lovely!

    Awfully hot here, talk about the sun’s brunt. But the lake is about 70 degrees, so a good old respite.
