So last week I won a cool giveaway over at Serendipity Is Sweet.   (Thanks Melissa!)  It was a gift pack from Dentastix….our St. Bernard’s most favorite treat in the whole wide world.   (no, seriously, it really is!)

This would be the um…very first time…that we’ve ever attempted to brush our dogs teeth.  The dental kit came complete with a doggy toothbrush, paste and even finger toothbrushes…which, thankfully, we did not need.   Just sayin.

Everybody was all excited at first and curiosity ruled the roost.   The dogs came in close for a good whiff.   Smelled good, they said.   Shane did his best to demonstrate to the dogs what would be happening…pretending to brush his own canines.

It’s extremely difficult to hold down a saint to brush her teeth, and eventually she sat nicely and let me brush.  I think it was because I bribed her with a Dentastix.

Dublin was not diggin the whole ‘let’s brush your teeth’ gig….he was way more interested in the ball that came in the gift pack.   Brooklyn really just wanted the treats.    All in all it was fun.

Note:  Our dogs choose Dentastix over all other treats, I’m totally serious.  Even bacon treats.  (I’m not just sayin this because I won these, it’s actually true.)

See?  Something for the dogs, something for me!  LOVE IT!   First off, I love me some Fiber One bars.  They really are the best bars on the market.  No, really they are.  And my kids love them, which is equally…if not more…important!

I’m lovin this handy little journal too.  I love journals!  And they even included a pedometer and water bottle, incase I motivate my self to start walking.  I think my son will be using these, as he’s the one with the willpower and runs daily.
