We never see deer around here. I would probably freak out if I saw one in my yard. Did I ever tell you about the time a deer jumped OVER my car while I was going 65 mph on the highway? It was freaking insane.

oh how cool! definitely cooler then seeing them at night (the last time I saw them they were in front of my car in a very dark street, more scary then cool). definitely cool. Thanks for sharing
We had some visitors like that in our back yard just a few days ago but I’m always too freaked by them to think to grab my camera. I know that is SO wussy. But they’re big and I am SUCH a city girl at heart!
So beautiful! I love deer… We used to have them in the field behind our house when we lived in Georgia.

I am a totally city girl and when we moved here…I was freaked – the deer just cruise down our street, came up to the house, etc….AAAAAAHHHH nature. They like to hang out at the cemetery for the most part.

It amazes me how bold the woodland creatures are these days. Hopefully they’re not eating too much of your garden.

That is so cool…as long as they’re not eating your garden. My kids would go nuts if we had deer in the yard. We did have a blue heron visit yesterday when our backyard was like a lake.
My husband would be so jealous – he longs for a yard where our animal visitors were more than squirrels and rabbits.

I love deer. They are adorable and cute and make me think… Bambi! As long as they stay out of my yard and don’t eat my roses. Then I’d start envisioning venison.
They are so beautiful but…are they eating your plants?
