Remember a couple weeks ago when I blogged about Shane’s affliction that makes him want to order things from infomercials and radio spots?   Well, he’s been a bad, bad boy.  I found THIS in the garage near the radio…..

Around here, anything with an 800# means we need a refresher intervention.

“What is this?” I ask, my heart racing.  “I thought after the ‘smoke assist debacle‘ we agreed (again) ….NO MORE ORDERING STUFF”.

“I ONLY wrote down the number.  I didn’t order it…yet”,  he replies slumping into his chair.

“What is it?”

Very excited he says, “It’s stuff that can cure the bags under my eyes, it will get rid of the dark circles!”

Pretending to be excited I piped in, “Wow!  Is there a FREEEE trial?….Like the Smoke Assist…that broke after 2 days….that we’re STILL waiting for the $69.95 credit on the credit card….for that FREEEE trial?”

(Looks somber)  “Yes…but this REALLLY works!  I hate living with these bags!”

I then google the product for him and point out that in test trials, people had to drop out because this stuff caused bumps around their eyes….and….that one site noted that the jar was lovely and was the best part of the $89.00 product.

“Yea, it’s crap.   Go in the kitchen…get a 2 cent green tea bag or slice up a cucumber and slap that on your eye bags.  For GOD’S sake!”
