Phew, that was a close one! I remember when I first started driving my car to school back in high school, a girl backed out of her spot with her tiny little red Toyota and smashed the hell out of my back bumper. I wasn’t even in my car yet, just standing next to it. She yelled “sorry!” out her window and drove off. I couldn’t believe it and her father was pissed when I tracked her down and insisted that they pay for the damage. He offered me $50 for the whole car, granted it was a huge car almost as old as me, but really??? His insurance ended up footing the bill to fix my bumper, over $300!
MC starting to drive has given you endless blogging material, hasn’t it? You just can’t make this stuff up!

Kids sure provide hours of endless entertainment or worry…no matter which way to look at it, it definitely is a roller coaster of an adventure. I’m enjoying your driving stories but know I’ll be there in a couple of years.

Thank goodness it was just a little bit of paint and it “rubbed out.” It could have been much worse. I remember when I first started driving. I backed into a parked car, ran into a tree with another vehicle and hit a pole with my parent’s van. My dad was not happy with any of these. Fortunately nobody was hurt either.

My eyes blank out a lot too, especially lately, I think it has to do with the days getting shorter, or something.
