omg, that is funny, but not funny when it is you.
I would have been livid too! Our gas gauges all work, but we also use the trip set odometer as a way to estimate when to fill up…………it seems to work ok!

That hoopty sounds familiar. My car in high school was a real gem. Although I never ran out of gas. That might the only thing that could have gone wrong that didn’t, though.
