So we visited Kaylee on Sunday and took her and Alan out to break-lunch for their birthdays.  Well, we took Middle Child too, but it’s not her birthday til next month.  See, way back when, we thought having babies 2 years apart was a ‘most excellent’ idea…and to have them in Sept., Oct., Nov.  You know…right before Christmas…even better.  FOOLS!

Get out much?

The staff was very nice here.  They even indulged me and embarrased the crap out of the kids by singingmaviefolle.com 061 Happy Birthday.  I live for that shit.  There’s nothin like a bunch of waitresses clapping and singing loudly right in front of your table and watching the red come into your kids faces.  Ahhhh.  *sigh*

Sorta makes up for all those temper tantrums in the grocery store.

The food was marvelous.  Shane and Alan got breakfast.  The rest of us had lunch.

.

Here’s a haiku I wrote about our first trip to a Sonic.  Let me set the scene.  It was opening weekend for the first Sonic in our area.  Actually within like 30 miles of us I think.  Every once in a while we’d catch a stray Sonic commercial.  Our taste buds would salivate….ooooooo.

We arrived to find two lines. One for the drive thru and one for the car hop parking. Yes, the line LOOPED…it was so long. 40 minutes in fact. Yes. We waited 40 minutes in a drive thru line. How pathetic is that?
