    I know mine was off at a sleep-over the other night and I felt very very weird and weepy about it. And she’s got over 10 years until she flies the nest! Of course I realized later I was quite pre-menstrual so that explained a lot.

    But still, your first-born going off to college. Oh my freaking god. Gorgeous how you caught her at the portal with her back to you. Going away. At the portal of the unknown. Contemplating what lies ahead. About to strike out on her own.
