Monday Garden Club and a fat ass June Bug

Monday Garden ClubIt’s  Monday Garden Club
over at Feet Off the Table!

who, btw, has an awesome garden!

maviefolle 657But here’s my little garden.  Last week you saw my three, count um 3 green beans, lol.  This week I got a WHOLE BOWL of spinach!

maviefolle 658

(well, albeit a small bowl)

From left to right there’s carrots (which are finally getting orangy in color!  I pushed away a bit of earth to take a peak!  They’re small in diameter…but they’re ORANGE-Y bay-bee!)*

In the middle:  banana peppers and far right:  green peppers.

In the back is my only surviving spinach plant and my last broccoli plant who is making a certain June Bug a very plump and happy insect.    Way in the back are my green beans.  I just planted some more bean, spinach and broccoli seeds today so maybe I’ll get some more of those plants.  OH!  Any my cucumbers are growing (slowwwwly) and are not in this shot.

aventine 280* Since I don’t have any effing clue on when to pick anything…I sometimes sit and google for a hour or so to try and find out.  I have noooooooo clue at all on how to garden.  Nadda.  So that’s why I have to push the earth to see how the carrots are progressing.  So don’t laugh.  ha ha!  **And, OKAY, OKAY…I couldn’t stand the not knowing and pulled a carrot, OKAY?   And no…it wasn’t ready. But it’s cute.  Totally cute.

  1. June’s over, someone needs to tell your pesky little bug to go hibernate, or whatever they do. Great spinach though! Looks like enough for a yummy salad.

Thanks for participating. I’ll link to you when I post my update, hopefully later this morning. I’m still recovering from the weekend, lol.

  7. Your garden is turning into quite an impressive thing! I wouldn’t have any idea when to harvest. Heck, I have cilantro growing and I’m not 100% when I can clip it.

  8. Your garden looks great! It is better than mine. Now that I am on bed rest the weeds took over my garden. But we finally figured out what our mystery vine is and it is honey dew! I can’t wait until it is ready to be picked. You’ll know when your veggies are ready.
