(Aloha Friday) Dog Takes On Big Scary Pig.
filed in Pets Past & Present on Jun.12, 2009
Aloha Friday in Hawaii is a time to take it easy! Blogging is even simplified! Here’s my simple question:
“Does your pet have any weird habits?”
My answer is a video this week (approx 20 sec.) Our dog ‘protect us’ from everything. This time it’s the neighbors new pink wooden pig. Day and night. Piggy is verrry intimidating…the damn thing doesn’t even move when he barks! Ooooo. Scary.

Well gosh, I can totally understand his wrath. Look at those eyes, with their overstated lashes, practically taunting him.
Why did your neighbors put a pig at your fenceline? Weird.

OMG that is scary. I mean just look at those big giant eyes only a monster would have eyes that big, not to mention the teeny curled up tail. Why would any real pig put a curler on it’s tail to make it look like that?
Our dog is very good at playing dead…he has been doing it since like February or March {boo hiss}

I’d bark at that fake pig too, and I’m more of the human variety than not.

Looks like the neighbors put it there to taunt him, right along the fence like that.

Nahhh, these particular neighbors are really some of the few we actually like. I think little pig decorations are hysterical. lol

That is funny! Your dog must have really thought that was real. Have a wonderful weekend.

Very cute. Although I’m sure it gets significantly annoying after a time. My dog freaks during thunderstorms, if he could crawl up someone’s butt to escape the noise I’m pretty sure he would. His favorite place to hide is my daughter’s room, her bed in particular. She looooooves that.

Oh how lucky you are to be so well protected from that mean pig! Cute…
My cat’s annoying habit is that if we’re around, he meows (and meows and meows) to be let out. He has a perfectly good cat door that he has no problem using when we’re not here, but when we are, it’s butler service on demand for his royal highness.
There are more, of course, but I’ll stop there.
