Conversations With a 16 Year Old

On the way to school to take finals in math.

“I don’t know why, but I have a nervous stomach this morning.”

“Nervous about the final?”

“No, I’m feeling like this will be rather serendipitous”

*blink… blink blink*  “Serendipitous?”

“Yes, my final grade will be serendipitous.  A happy accident.   I believe in karmic synergy, you know.”

(where’s my kid and what have you done with her?)

  9. That’s awesome. I’ve never been able to use serendipitous in a sentence. Actually I wasn’t 100% sure what it meant until just now…so was it?

  10. I’m actually not checking the grades of my final until I absolutally must because I’m taking Karmic Synergy to the next level: I’ve got to let it all come to me and fill me with what it will.

Plus if it fills me with a bad grade at least it won’t bug me!
