How I got my phat check in the last post!

So a couple people have asked in my comment area, to explain a little about getting sponsors on their blog.  It’s really quite simple (even I could do it and I’m a dummy when it comes to codes, lol)  First off, when I decided to put this on my blog, I researched the different agencies that offer this service for bloggers.  I went with Google because it’s well known and I knew it would be on the ‘up and up’.  You can put up to three blocks of sponsors on your site and they are the sizes you choose.  There are rules of use which you should definitely read, but it’s as simple as sticking a piece of code on your site.   The $135.44 check that I just got was from a four month period.   Well worth the hour or so of learning the ropes and a few minutes of pasting the codes.  I’d say give it a try!  (click that Google link above)

  1. Hey thats great!!! I have been wanting to do ads also, but wordpress.com won’t allow it. You must have the installed version. One day i need to ask you the details behind that. It all confuses me.

  4. I contributed to that check when I clicked on what may have been the best google ad ever- it was just last week on this very web site. Apparently, there is a service in western NY that will scoop the poop out of your yard. Varying fees take into consideration how many dogs you have, how big the yard is and whether you want them to remove the poop or just place it in your garbage. What a service!

    Congrats on your check!
