Put off today what you can do tomorrow. Or next week.

So my big plan for today was to get the taxes started so that my daughter would stop bugging me about filling out the FAFSA forms for college.  So yeah, I did everything BUT.  And mostly stuff I hate doing.   This is what I did today:

2 sinks full of dishes
2 loads of laundry
stripped all the beds of bedding, washed, put back
washed the shower curtain
cleaned the bathroom
watched Oceans 12 (lol~so funny)
cleaned the kitchen
vacuumed
cleaned the GROUT between the bathroom floor tiles
watched Legends of the Fall (3 hours~ and btw, NOT your feel good movie of the year!  wtf ?)
cooked a BIG dinner
and now, well now I’m sitting here writing a post.

Maybe tomorrow I’ll get to those forms.  (maybe not, I think the garage may need cleaning)

  1. Wow. You have had a productive day. The FAFSA stuff is on my to-do list for next week when the kids go back to school. I figure I’m still on break too!

  4. I’m laughing. Sometimes having one “icky” project to do is enough to motivate us to do a hundred little “icky” ones to avoid the main ick. I really like your blog and the categories – Wallyworld Vacations! Priceless. I’ll have to spend some time reading here.

  5. Wow you got a lot done! Saturday is my big chore day too, but I don’t think I did nearly as much as you. Sometimes I wish I had more energy.

  6. I love writing “Have Done” lists too! Can’t say too much was on mine today, tho. You did amazingly well. Is this your usual energy level of getting things done or an especially stellar day?
