Giving Thanks

So I’m doing that 31 posts in 31 days over at NaBloPoMo again this month. Since I’ve been told that I never shut up, I guess it won’t be that difficult. And when you have an opinion on everything, it’s even easier.
This month you’re supposed to blog on what you’re thankful for. Hmmm. Here goes (in no order):
I’m thankful that even though we’ve lost several long time customers due to the recession (I hear we’re allowed to call it that now) in the last few months, we are still in business! Yea!
I’m thankful that even though my son came home from school today, sick with a stomach ache, he’s not puking anywhere! Yea!
I’m thankful that we bought that insert for the fireplace because this November we’ve saved about $100 off our heating bill! Yea!
Even though I bitch and complain every time something goes wrong in the money pit house, I’m soooo thankful that I even HAVE a house and we’re not living out of a cardboard box. And I’m thankful for that link that I just provided you so I can remind myself of that, every day.
I’m sooo thankful for my family and the infectious laughter that gets me through all the daily bullshit. Yea!
I’m thankful that I am DONE with my Christmas Shopping and that they whole family decided on major cutbacks in shopping this year! Double Yea!
I’m thankful that I still have my parents (and that they still speak to me after the last election.) Yea!
I’m thankful that I have a blog (to express m’ self) and a bunch of new bloggy friends from all over the world that I can visit daily in my jammies ~n~ no makeup……and not feel weird! Yea!
And of course my real world friends that I can visit in my jammies and no makeup! lol.
I’m thankful for my cousin who emails me the latest “CNN Breaking News!” when the world is falling apart….just in case I’m not by a t.v. Yea Laura!
I’m thankful that George Bush only has like 48 days left in office. (And I pray he doesn’t do any more damage between now and then!)
Now, aren’t YOU thankful this post is over? Yea!
