Ghost of Christmas Past?

Okay, so we decided to smudge the house again. This time a contributing factor was this set of photos. Taken in succession about 2 seconds apart.
The first one: No orb.
Second one: Orb. In front of the dogs hind leg.
(this was also the third pic of her in a week that an orb showed up in with her)
Note: Remember my post awhile back about her sitting in front of her stocking? Well, she sat by this stocking since we put it up….but NOT after we smudged.
Weird. I think so.

i don’t wanna burst any bubbles…because there’s a part of me that is enchanted with the thought of ghosts…but looks like you suffered a little lens flare.

I don’t like the idea of ghosts so I’m with John that it’s something on your lens. That is strange though that it’s in one pic and not the next.

Smudge? Dust? Ghost? Who’s to know. But one thing I noticed, in the middle of the picture, on the right, there is another white blog of some sort as well.

Oh. My. God. Sounds like the curse of the Mystical Orb from the times of Shakespeare. Don’t want to say too much more, as even talking about it can summon it from literally nowhere.

It’s not like a little sage is going to hurt anything, so why not?
I hear a lot of people get orbs in their Gettysburg pictures. We have no experience with that… but when we first moved here we almost bought a house (like half an hour away) that I’m pretty sure had a portal to hell in it. It was a good financial decision, but I was hugely relieved when the deal fell apart through no fault of our own.
To each his own beliefs as long as they hurt no other…

I think they are “fields of energy”–obviously connected to the doggie.

I’m assuming a smudge is when they cleanse the house or something? But doesn’t “smudge” sound more like they’re dirtying it up? I’d have thought a different word would be associated with it…

I have never smudged. I read about it when you did it before. Very interesting. We’ve never had an angry ghost though, so I don’t feel the need yet.
